Log into the Jira customer portal to report incidents, submit service requests, view and update submitted requests. You can access your submitted request anytime to add responses and view replies.

View the IT Service Catalog at technology.minneapolis.edu 

  1. Sign into Jira Service Desk for technology support requests and to report incidents. .

    Students: firstname.lastname@go.minneapolis.edu

    Employees: firstname.lastname@minneapolis.edu




  2. Click Log in with single-sign on. You will be redirected to the Minnesota State StarID log in page. 

    Enter your StarID and StarID password. 






IT Service Catalog – A comprehensive list of Information Technology services provided to the college.  Each service listed has a unique form to collect specific information for that request. Gathering targeted information helps speed up the request process so we can start working on your request faster.

Service Request -  A formal user request for something new to be provided. Example: “I need software installed." Or "I need my voicemail pin number reset". These requests are repeatable services regularly provided.

Incident - An unplanned event that disrupts or reduces the quality of a service and requires an emergency response. Example: “My computer has no internet connection" or my software is not loading or giving me an error message". Incidents are reported when something is not working as it should and is not a regularly repeatable request.
