Troubleshooting A Monitor That Isn't Displaying
Check to see if the monitor has power
If you don't see an orange or green light, press the monitor's power button.
If you still don't see any light, check to see if the power cord is properly connected to the back of the monitor and if the power strip or outlet has power.Check to see if the computer has power

Docking station
Check the cables to make sure they are securely plugged into the back of monitor and the outlet.
There are 2 cords that connect to a monitor, one is the power cord and the other is the signal cable (VGA / DVI / HMDI). Make sure all the connection(s) are firmly connected in the back of the monitor(s) to the back of the computer.
Connecting a docking station
Reference the photo below for the proper placement of cords on the back of the docking station.
Make sure the USB-C cord is plugged into the port with the computer icon on the back of the docking station. On the laptop, make sure its plugged into the top left port when the laptop is facing you.
Plug in the power cord
Monitor cords are plugged into the HDMI or Display Port ports. Sometimes an adapter is needed.
Plug your headset into one of the USB 10 ports.
Connect the ethernet cord
Plug in the mouse and keyboard to the standard USB ports

Placement of the USB-C Cord
The USB-C cord from the docking station must be plugged into the correct port.
When plugging the in USB-C cord from the docking station to the laptop, make sure it is in the port on the top left when the laptop is facing you.
