Keychain Password Prompt

After resetting your Star ID password and logging back into your account, you might see an alert that the system was unable to unlock your login keychain. This is expected, because the passwords for your user account and login keychain no longer match.

  1. Click the Spotlight Search on the top right portion of the screen or use the keyboard shortcut Command ⌘ + Space Bar



  2. Type in "Keychain Access" then press Enter



  3. Locate "Login" on the left hand side of the window

  4. Right click, then select "Delete"




  5. Click Log Out




  6. Log back in. You'll be prompted to put in your password. Use your current StarID Password
