How to use Monitor Display.

  1. Click Press to Begin on the touch screen controller.

  2. Click Monitor Display at the top of the screen.

  3. Click Projector, Display 1, and Display 2 if applicable.

a.     This will display the instructor’s screen to the projector/TVs.

  1. You may need to change the output if there is no sound. Go to the volume icon in the bottom right corner, click the carrot/arrow, then select the other options until sound comes out of the speakers.

How to use Extended Display.

  1. Click Press to Begin on the touch screen controller.

  2. Click Extended Display at the top of the screen.

  3. Click Projector, Display 1, and Display 2 if applicable.

a.    This will separate what is on the instructors monitor and what is on the projector/TVs.

  1. To display media onto the projector/TVs, open the media on the instructor’s computer, drag the media to either the left or right until it disappears, format the media on the projector/TVs.

  2. You may need to change the output if there is no sound. Go to the volume icon in the bottom right corner, click the carrot/arrow, then select the other options until sound comes out of the speakers.

To display what is on the Laptop to the projector and TVs.

  1. Plug the HDMI cable on the instructor’s station into your laptop.

  2. Click Press to Begin on the touch screen controller.

  3. Click Laptop at the top of the screen.

  4. Click Projector, Display 1, and Display 2 if applicable.

To display what is on the Document Camera to the projector and TVs.

  1. Click Press to Begin on the touch screen controller.

  2. Click Doc Cam on the top of the screen.

  3. Click Projector, Display 1, and Display 2 if applicable.

Troubleshooting

First, restart the system by turning it off and on using the controller screen.

 

If your projector and TVs are on but are not displaying anything (projector is showing a blue screen).

  1. Click Monitor Display on the touch screen controller.

  2. Click Projector, Display 1, and Display 2 if applicable.

a.     This will display what is on the instructor’s computer to the projector and TVs.

If you are playing a video and there is no sound.

  1. Check the volume on the touch screen controller, on your computer, and on the video.

  2. Click on the volume icon at the bottom of the screen, click the carrot/arrow, then select the other options until sound comes out of the speakers.

  3. If you are still not getting sound, call the service desk.

 

Please remember to turn off the touch screen controller at the end of your class. This will allow the next instructor to start fresh.
