Microsoft 365 | Creating a MPLS College Microsoft Team - Employees

Employees can create a Microsoft Team anytime. All Minneapolis College Teams will start with MPLS-team name.

  1. Launch Teams

  2. Click on the Teams icon in the left side navigation



  3. Choose Join or create a team



  4. Click Create a team



  5. Choose the type of Team. It is recommended to choose Other.



  6. Name your Team and choose if you want a Private Team or a Public Team anyone can join.

MPLS- will automatically be added to your Team name, in the Team Name field do not include the MPLS- or it will be duplicated when the site is created. This cannot be changed or removed.
