Zoom - Calling a Phone Number

Instructions

  1. Launch Zoom from the desktop
    Instructions for signing into Zoom using the desktop client




  2. Click New Meeting




  3. Click Participants




  4. On the right, click on Invite




  5. Click on Phone and enter the name of the person you are calling and their phone number.




  6. Note: The person receiving the call does not need to download or log-into anything. After you click “Invite”, the person you are calling will receive a call saying that they have been invited to a Zoom meeting and to press 1 to join. They press 1 and they are connected to you via audio.

    1. In Zoom click on “New Meeting

    2. Click “Join with Computer Audio”

    3. On the bottom, click “Invite”

    4. On the right click “Phone” and enter the person-you-want-to-call’s information and click “Invite”
