Remote Lab Access for Students
Students using devices running Windows 11, macOS or Chromebook can access computers with specialized software remotely using Remote Computer Access
Apple/Mac users will need to install the Microsoft Remote Desktop for mobile app from the Apple Store or Microsoft Remote Desktop for laptops.
Chromebook users can install Microsoft Remote Desktop from the playstore.

2. Choose a Lab Group depending on the software you need to use
ASC Standard Software Remote Lab
Has a standard software such as: Microsoft Office, Adobe Reader, FireFox, Google Chrome, and VLC.
ASC Specialized Software Remote Lab
Has the software listed above and also includes the following:
Adobe Acrobat DC
Adobe Illustrator CC
Adobe InDesign CC
Adobe Photoshop CC
AutoDesk AutoCAD
AutoDesk Revit

3. Check the box Don't ask me again for this computer and click Connect
4. Enter your StarID and StarID password
5. Disconnect from the remote computer by clicking on the start menu, selecting the account icon, and Sign Out.
Not Recommended
It is not recommended to close the the remote session using the remote desktop window X but the session will time out after one hour if you exit this way.
