  1. How do I know what version of Windows I am currently on?
    Click on Search in the task bar and enter Winver and then Enter to run the command. It will open a dialog box that shows the version you are currently on.

  3. Will my laptop get the updates if I am off campus?
    Yes, your laptop can get the upgrade while its off campus as long as it is powered on and connected to a network. 

  4. How long does the upgrade take?
    The upgrade time will vary depending on your network speeds. 

  5. Will I lose any data or files? 
    No, it is an in-place upgrade which means you will not lose any data or files.

  6. Where should I report issues that might come up during or after the upgrade?
