RedShelf | Issues Accessing Your eTextbook

 

There are two steps to access your RedShelf eText

  1. Access your textbook via a web browser at 
    mctcbookstore.redshelf.com

  2. Ask RedShelf to fix the account by submitting a ticket through 
    RedShelf Solve .

In the rare case that these steps do not work, please submit a Technology Support request and we will work with RedShelf and our campus store to resolve the issue.

Access RedShelf through a web browser.

  1. Browse to https://mctcbookstore.redshelf.com/ and click on the “Log In” link.

    1. Click the Forgot Password link

    2. When asked to enter an email address, make sure to use your firstname.lastname@go.minneapolis.edu address

    3. Once you have reset your RedShelf password, you will be able to log in, click on "My Shelf" and start reading.

Access RedShelf eText through D2L. 

RedShelf will need to troubleshoot and probably associate your account with your firstname.lastname@go.minneapolis.edu email account.

  1. Browse to RedShelf Solve and click the “Submit a request” link. RedShelf will need to know 1) Students Name 2) Email address 3) Title of course. Typically issues are resolved the same day.
