Microsoft 365 | ProPlus User Based Activation
Re-activate your Office 365 Suite - Simply sign back into Office!
Anyone affiliated with Minnesota State Colleges and Universities with an active StarID is given five complimentary Office 365 ProPlus licenses.
In order to align to Microsoft's licensing model, individual campus issued computers will consume one of your five complimentary licenses.
Instructions
When your Office products prompt you to sign in make sure to use your StarID@go.minnstate.edu (students) StarID@minnstate.edu (employees).
You should only need to sign in once and the rest of your apps should auto sign in. The following screenshots are using Outlook.
In Outlook click on File in the top left corner and go down to Office Accounts. In Word, it is just labeled Accounts.
Make sure you are signed in with your StarID@go.minnstate.edu or StarID@minnstate.edu and the Subscription Product matches your username.
To manage your Office 365 licenses click on Manage Account or go to https://portal.office.com/account/ and after signing in, go down to Office Apps and then you will be directed to Apps and Devices and use the drop down arrow by Devices to manage the devices. Simply Sign out a device to free up one of your five licenses.
