Outlook | Delegate Access Manage Another Person's Mail and Calendar Items

This step can only be completed after someone has granted you delegate access. For instructions on granting someone delegate access please ensure the steps have been completed in this knowledge article first.

Step 1 and 2: Permission is granted to the person gaining delegate access

Step 1 and 2 must be completed first by the person granting you delegate access.

Step 3 of 3: Instructions for adding another person's mailbox to your Outlook Desktop Client

  1. In Outlook click File > Account Settings > Account Settings.


     

     



  2. Click Change, and then click More Settings.






  3. Go the Advanced tab and click Add




  4. Add the email address of the person who has granted you delegate access. Their mailbox should show up in Outlook underneath your mailbox. If you cannot expand the folder, have them double check they granted you the correct permissions to their inbox and changed the folder permissions.
