Adobe Creative Cloud - Create a Free Adobe ID

Access the Adobe Creative Cloud on campus or through the remote labs using an Adobe ID.

Adobe has changed their licensing policies to require an Adobe ID to run the software. The software is activated at the computer level, but an Adobe ID is needed to log in to use it (no subscription necessary). Students can create a free Adobe ID using any email. It is recommended to use your StarID@go.minnstate.edu username to sign up.

If these students do not have StarID's, they can still create a free Adobe ID using a personal email (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.). Each student will need their own login, as the account can be only be used on one computer at a time. Instructions for creating an Adobe ID can be found below:

Instructions on creating a free Adobe CC Account

  1. Visit https://account.adobe.com click Create and account




  2. Fill in your information, create a password, and click Sign Up. You can use your school email or a personal email address.

     

     

  3. Log in to the Adobe products on a campus computer using your Adobe ID and password.
