D2L Brightspace | Access Before and After the End of a Semester

All D2L Brightspace courses will be accessible when classes begin. Student access continues for one month following the end of the semester.

Instructors can verify the date by going to their course > clicking on "Course Admin"> "Course Offering Information"> The course start and end dates are listed on this page.

D2L Log In

  1. Login at minneapolis.learn.minnstate.edu

  2. Username: StarID

  3. Password: StarID password

D2L Help and Tutoring

Students can schedule 1x1 appointments through Navigate for Advisor Appointments, Tutoring on Academic Subjects, Career Services, Counseling, and Digital Literacy, such as Computer Basics, D2L Brightspace and Office 365.

  1. Log into Navigate

  2. Click on Appointments in the left side navigation

  3. Click Schedule an Appointment, it is blue button on the top right of the page

  4. From the dropdown, choose What type of appointment would you like to schedule and Find an Available Time.
