Outlook | Template Emails using Text Box or Quick Parts

In the Outlook desktop client, use the Quick Parts Gallery to create, insert and store pre-formatted auto-text. 

Instructions

  1. In Outlook the Desktop Client compose a New Email




  2. Type up the email how you want it to appear.


  3. Select all the content in your composed email and go to the Insert tab in the navigation ribbon 




  4. Click on Quick Parts and select Save Selection to Quick Parts Gallery. 
    Note: make sure that the content you want saved is highlighted




  5. Choose a  unique name for your Quick Parts message. You can leave everything else at the default.  Click OK. 




  6. Next time you start to compose a message and want to use the Quick Parts auto text, simply start typing the Name of the Quick Part you want to insert. Once you see the pop up, press enter to insert.




  7. To rename or delete a saved Quick Part, open Quick Parts and right click on the one you want to change and choose Organize and Delete.
